Zac Olson

#519

My name is Zac Olson and I am 31 years old. I started racing at the age of 12 and raced TCCRA (cross country) and excelled as a top contender until I went into the Marines at 18. I took a 12 year hiatus and found my way back to the track and to the sport in the middle of 2021 where I began riding motocross primarily. Since returning I have managed to place top 5 in the classes I race at most of the events until now. Last year I competed at the state series finals as was able to bring home a 5th place overall. I also have returned to cross country and currently race in the over 30 expert class and seek advancement in the future to the pro class where cross country is concerned. I currently am a college student going to school in the Nuclear Medicine field. Last May I graduated with a 4.0 as a honors student and received my associates degree and have continued my educational journey and plan to use Nuclear Medicine as a bridge to get into medical school and ultimately become a physicians assistant. I have 3 boys and will be having a baby girl in October. I also am getting married to the love of my life in November. My weekends consist of spending time with my best friends, Jay, Delano, Jen, and my better half Kathrine as well as my children when I have them. If we’re not at the track, we are more than likely trying out new restaurants and creating our own little adventures and memories by doing spontaneous activities. I maintain a consistent exercise regiment that is cardio focused and have progressed physically with my goals on and off the track. My lowest point this year was when I was met with insecurities in my riding ability when I switched from Kawasaki to KTM and just could not get comfortable on the new bike. I was met with a solution when I found a Kawasaki 450 that MBW helped me dial in and since I have returned to the track and my lap times have improved substantially as well as my comfortability and consistency. My highest point is a continual realization of the vast amount of support I’ve received from what I consider my family today. MBW brought forth an amazing and welcoming experience to my return and I couldn’t see myself riding with anyone else.
