You are aware when you watch a NASCAR race that many outstanding drivers have achieved great victories in their preferred vehicles. Apart from betting on , betting on NASCAR is one of the best hobbies of American people. Your automobile must be the greatest in order for it to win a race. To purchase a vehicle for yourself, you must be a huge fan of NASCAR racing.

So before purchasing a vehicle or even visiting a racetrack, consider the following vehicles, which are the best NASCAR race cars around:

Mustang GT350R Ford

One of the greatest NASCAR vehicles is the Ford Mustang GT350R since it was built with racing in mind. In order to make sure the GT350R is competitive with all other racing cars on the track, it has undergone rigorous testing. There would be fewer instances of drivers experiencing oversteer or understeer during races since it also has an updated suspension system and braking system. The Mustang GT350R boasts a lot of safety features, in addition to having enough power under the hood to compete with almost every other vehicle on this list.

Convertible Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

This is one of the most well-liked sports vehicles available right now. When you’re out on the track, you won’t have to worry about expensive gas prices since it features a strong engine that provides exceptional performance and fuel economy. Additionally, it has a smooth ride, so you won’t notice any jar when traveling at high speeds.

With a top speed of 178 mph, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is among the quickest cars available. It is simple to see why this car would be ideal for NASCAR. With a V8 engine producing 640 horsepower, the Camaro ZL1 can race around any circuit in comfort (and speed). Drivers are able to accelerate at will on the circuit while maintaining control of their speed down every straightaway thanks to the car’s eight-speed gearbox, which shifts rapidly and smoothly.

Ford Mustang SRT Demon

This vehicle is one of the quickest in its class thanks to its 840 horsepower engine. Recently, it was tested at over 200 mph on an oval circuit. Additionally, it features a special drag mode function that enables you to increase your speed during drag races.

ZR1 Corvette

Chevy’s top-of-the-line Corvette Z06 gets transformed into the Corvette ZR1 by adding more power and aerodynamics. It is one of the world’s fastest sports cars, reaching 210 mph on straightaways.

SS Chevrolet

The Impala SS was replaced by the Chevrolet SS, which debuted in 2012. It is a rear-drive sedan with a 415 horsepower V8 engine. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox, while more expensive variants may also be had with an automated 6-speed.

The SS has seen several updates since its debut, including a brand-new version for 2016. Thanks to suspension modifications, the new model now produces 430 horsepower, which is more powerful than earlier iterations. It also boasts better fuel efficiency ratings and handling skills.

Fusion Ford

Since its debut on American racetracks in 2007, the Ford Fusion has been a favorite with NASCAR drivers. It has undergone several changes, including becoming an electric car. The latest model has 350 lb.-ft. Of torque and 325 horsepower.

Toyota Camry

Several racers have utilized the Toyota Camry since 2007 in a variety of races around North America. Even though it has less horsepower than some of the other models on this list, it is renowned for its dependability and toughness on the track.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS

One of the most well-known vehicles in racing is this one. It has a reputation for performance, and several teams have utilized it as their race car. A 3.8-liter engine in the automobile produces 500 horsepower. It can go as fast as 193 mph (310 km/h).

BMW M5

Another well-liked option among drivers is the BMW M5, which provides exceptional performance at a reasonable price. The vehicle has a 600 horsepower 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It can go 280 kilometers per hour (174 mph).

Verdict

The competition is natural and fierce when it comes to driving in professional auto racing. Because of this, NASCAR drivers require the greatest car possible for their activity. There is no one ideal automobile that would fit a whole bunch of professional racers since they all have distinct qualities they look for in vehicles. The best NASCAR automobile, however, is hard to nail down since it relies on your preferences for aesthetics and driving performance.

BMW was established in Munich, Germany, in 1916. They were just as desirable back then as they are now, but not everyone wants a modern-day BMW. Some people prefer Audi’s, Mercedes, or even a standard Vauxhall Corsa. But anyone who appreciates cars or with an eye for a car that many would call a status symbol car will know the BMWs command respect on the roads – especially the souped-up models like the M140i’s.

The nay-sayers will argue that BMWs aren’t reliable. Some will say they’re terrible to drive in the snow, some will say they’re expensive to run, and other people will complain that they’re not mechanically reliable. Considering 2,028,841 BMWs sold in 2020, let’s explore how reliable recent models are and why many people are so desperate to own one.

What Does The Research Say?

Before we get started, it’s worth confirming that the data says many models of cars are unreliable. A report issued by WhatCar? found that MG, Kia, and Mazdas are the most unreliable cars, and Mini, Dacia, and Lexus are the top three most reliable. Still, BMW hasn’t scored above average in the consumer reliability ratings published by Consumer Reports.

From unwanted breakdowns to frequent reliability issues, BMWs sometimes have a negative reputation – but everything from the driver’s style of driving to the age of the vehicle must be considered when thinking about the reliability of recent BMW models.

Consumer reports found that cars between the age of four and eight years old are most likely to be off the road. Buying a BMW new, then – straight off the lot – means you do get a decent run out of it and, also, are able to give it your best TLC to maintain it. Investing in insurance – something only eligible for cars with under 12000 miles on the clock – will help cover any surprise issues through the early- and mid-life of the car, as it covers mechanical breakdowns that occur without any collision impacting performance. If the engine goes kaput of its own accord, car repair insurance will kick in.

Consumer reports also found the 3 Series model to be the one most prone to frequent repairs or failures during that period. Yet the 3 Series is by far one of the most popular models, according to a study by BMW Toronto and multiple other sources.

Now we know the reliability issues come with age rather than fundamental issues that are there from the beginning, we can assume that recent BMW models are reliable, for now.

Which Models Are The Most Unreliable?

Like any manufacturer, some models are going to do better than others. As mentioned earlier, however, the kink in the BMW model armor is the 3 series which has managed to single-handedly fuel the conspiracy that BMWs aren’t mechanically reliable. They’re excellent to drive, but they do come with a few hiccups along the way. Below are some of the most consistently documented issues with the BMW 3 Series models and others:

  • Engine cooling system issues
  • Oil leaks
  • Poor tail lamp assembling
  • Steering imbalances

Again, take these issues with a pinch of salt – often, the driving style plays a leading role in reliability and mechanical problems. – a popular online car blog created by the presenters of Top Gear – thinks the BMW M5 E60 is one of the more unreliable models. They reported the rod bearing, VANOS issue, and high oil consumption as the frequent problems with this model.

E60 BMW M5 (V10 Engine 507hp)

Which Models Are The Most Reliable?

Looking historically, Auto Express ranks the following as the best models ever:

  • BMW M1
BMW M1
  • BMW E30 M3
BMW M3 (E30)
  • BMW M5 E39
E39 BMW M5
  • BMW 3.0 CSL E9
BMW 3.0 CSL E9
  • BMW M5 E28
E28 BMW M5

But sadly, none of them come in as the most reliable. There are various opinions about which model is the most reliable, but one that crops up on every list – and is usually always first on the list – is the BMW E90 3-Series. Even though it might not be the quickest out of the BMW model range, it is the most reliable. In terms of recent models, the . Both of those cars are great, but they don’t carry the same BMW prowess that some models do – and that’s where the right care and maintenance of some of the more favorable models play a part.

One study found that 41% of people thought BMW drivers are the most annoying – there’s a sad stigma surrounding BMW drivers that society has pinned on all BMWs. But anyone who owns a BMW knows they’re elegant, powerful, and desirable – especially the recent models with more sophisticated specs. If you own a BMW, consider regular services and maintenance checks and adopting the right driving style to ensure your BMW lasts for years to come.

The BMW M5 CS has shown itself out in the open. Recently, spy shots of the M5 CS during testing were released. The shots do not show the car in all its glory but we can get an idea of the design it will follow.

The 2021 BMW M5 CS model is due to get the performance and tech upgrades and it will range higher than the base M5 and the M5 Competition. This will vehicle will now become the flagship BMW offering.

The pictures show the car resembling the M5 but there are slight differences that are only visible to the keen eye. On closer inspection, we can see a few notable differences that set the M5 CS apart from its brothers.

The grille as well as the front-end is unique with a new front lip spoiler in place that cannot be found on other M5s. The rear-end gets a refreshed spoiler that resembles that of the spoilers found in the M2, M3, and M4 CS models.

As is customary with spy shots and camouflaged cars we have no precise information on the powertrain. However, it is expected that the M5 CS will sport a freshly developed V8 engine. This new engine is smaller and packs a punch. It is much better compared to the 4.4-liter V8 being used in performance BMW cars nowadays. Reports also suggest that the new V8 may have hybrid capabilities so an M5 CS hybrid is also possible.

As a result, performance could reach somewhere in the neighborhood of 64- to 650 hp. This will be an enhancement over the M5’s 600hp and M5 Competition’s 617 hp.

It is expected that the M5 variants will make their way to showrooms by early 2021. Further details about the 2021 BMW M5 CS will be revealed months before the official launch.

Australia is the latest market to receive the gorgeous new 2019 BMW M2 and M5, both models arriving locally with the Competition Package.

Each one comes with its own choices in terms of design and interior highlights. What is also interesting, according to Aussie magazine PerformanceDrive, the BMW M5 Competition is the most powerful M5 ever built.

Compared to the standard models, the Competition package brings forward more M goodies on the outside and inside, while under hood, the engine has received a power boost as well.

Already for sale in Australia, the 2019 BMW M2 Competition is available with an entry-level variant called the Pure ($99,900) and adds up the top of the line Competition ($104,900). As for the new M5 Competition, this one comes just in one version, and is priced at $229,900.

But what does each model bring fresh compared to the standard ones?

We`ll start with the 2019 BMW M2 Competition, which is offered with the Pure entry-level and top variant not-Pure one. It rather wears the same styling bits as the standard model, yet it features updated front and rear bumpers and new wheels.

On the other side, the non-Pure variant is even more tweaked with one-off 19-inch alloy wheels wrapping 245/35 and 265/35 Michelin Super Sport tires, along with black front grilles and window trimmings, updated suspension system, or 12-speaker Harman/Kardon high-performance sound system inside the cabin.

In the engine department, both variants of the M2 Competition come with same S55 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine borrowed from the M4, now developing 302 kW and 550 Nm of torque. This allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h 4.4 seconds if hooked to the standard six-speed manual, and 4.2 seconds with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Moving to the 2019 BMW M5 Competition, this is highlighted by the same black exterior accents, along with new suspension system which lowers the car`s ride height by 7 mm. There is also the new set of springs that are 10 percent stiffer, adding adaptive dampers which provide better stance and grip. The model also got the 20-inch forged alloy wheels, wrapped in 275/35 and 285/35, front and rear, respectively.

The BMW M5 Competition also comes as the most powerful M model ever built. The car features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, with 460 kW and massive 750 Nm of torque, paired to an eight-speed automatic with switchable all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is also covered in a mind-blowing 3.3 seconds.

BMW is revitalizing part of its model lineup by introducing new updates and engines starting this July. The changes involve the 1-Series model as well as some variants from the 5- and the 7-Series, along with the newly-launched i8 Roadster. Also, SUVs from the X range will receive new engine updates.

Starting with the BMW 1-Series, the carmaker has set up a special car titled the “Metropolitan Edition”, which adds up new features “specifically designed to enhance comfort and driving pleasure in urban traffic.”

These new highlights refer to “instrument cluster with extended features”, GPS navigation, rear-view camera, Comfort Access pack, Park Distance and Speed Limited Info.

Next is the 5-Series in both Sedan and Touring disguises, set to arrive with the fabulous Frozen Dark Silver Metallic paintjob, while the top of the line M5 is now dressed with the new Frozen Marina Bay Blue Metallic. On the other hand, the 7-Series has been optimized with a wide choice of colours, along with Merion leather with special trims and high-end roof liner inside.

Moving up to the new i8 Roadster, the hot model is now available with new aerodynamic styling package, with main highlights comprising updated front splitter and rear spoiler. As for the I Performance models – ranging from the 225xe iPerformance to the i8 – these come equipped with the latest technologies onboard.

The new engine updates comprising both petrol and plug-in hybrid forms have been equipped with a particulate filter to comply the new Euro 6d-TEMP regulations.

The power of the engines have also been enhanced. For instance, the BMW X3 M40d is now producing no less than 320 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque, all squeezed from a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, enabling a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Also, in August, BMW will also introduce the X4 xDrive30d with a 3.0-liter diesel with 261 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque; paired to a high-performance eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive configuration, the model can jump to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.

The transmissions have also been modified. For instance, there is the new eight-speed automatic, available from August on models from the 1-Series (12oi, M140i) or the 3-, 4- and the 5-Series (520d Sedan, 520d Touring).

German based carmaker has finnaly decided to unleash the one-off 2018 BMW M5 in the United Kingdom, releasing as well two exquisite videos that explain design language and driving capabilities.

Once arriving in the United Kingdom, the high-end model will take on the likes of the new Mercedes-AMG E63 S, coming with a price tag of £89,645, as opposed to the E63 S which is set at £88,295.

Just like in many other European countries, the new M5 will be offered with a wide range of colours, like Frozen Dark Silver or Frozen Arctic Grey. Exclusively for the UK market, the new model will also arrive in the gorgeous Marina Bay, also highlighted in the media gallery below.

Technology wise, the new M5 borrows the same technology lineup also seen on the latest 5-Series or 2016 7-Series. It has been also equipped with updated equipment, like new shifter, M Sport steering wheel with two M Drive buttons, adding as well the state-of-the-art Head-Up Display with satellite navigation and much more.

One of the car`s main highlights refer to the xDrive configuration which uses a “central intelligence unit” that provides “all the agility and precision of standard rear-wheel drive with the supreme poise and traction of the all-wheel-drive system.”

As a premiere in a BMW model, the new M5 will also come with a CFRP roof, while the front wings and bonnet are made from aluminum. This makes it lightweight and increase its performance figures. Another distinguishable element is inside and refers to the steering wheel which now has received a couple of red lacquered buttons – M1 and M2 – which store the car`s chassis settings.

Paired to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and a new all-wheel-drive configuration, the all-new 2018 BMW M5 also features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, developing 600 PS and 750 Nm of torque. This allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a staggering 3.4 seconds. On the other hand, the 200 km/h sprint is also done in 11.1 seconds. with the M Driver`s Package, the top speed is raised from 250 km/h to an impressive 305 km/h.

As for fuel economy, the new M5 comes with a decent 26.9 mpg, while the CO2 emissions stop at 241 g/km. You can find full details in the two videos and gorgeous media gallery below!

We don’t have the chance of seeing an exclusive battle of raw power between two exquisite models all the time. In this case you are looking at a rivalry that will perhaps last for a lifetime – the 2018 BMW M5 versus the Mercedes-AMG E63 S.

Both models are equally-matched from a performance perspective, coming with rather the same sizes and impressive mechanics and technology. Not to mention the mind-blowing braking system and acceleration from standstill.

CarWow auto magazine has gathered both the luxury saloons in “Drag Race, Rolling Race & Brake Test”, as the video below is called. Evidently, we won`t reveal the result until comparing the cars` power and performance. In fact, we won`t reveal it at all, and let you bet your money on the best one.

To start with the 2018 BMW M5, the model uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 versus the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine in the Mercedes-AMG. We are looking here at 600 PS and 750 Nm of torque against 612 PS and 850 Nm of torque. The Merc is a tad more powerful than the M5. Even so, the slight output might be just enough to destroy the BMW M5 in a straight line battle.

Besides the 0 to 100 km/h drag race, both contenders` brakes were also tested out at 112 km/h, with the result being also highlighted in the video below. And for that part, you might be in for a big surprise, as the driver of the E63 S model seemed to have hit the pedal too soon.

This is an interesting video to watch, as it refers to two of the most powerful luxury saloon available on the market today. That might change once the all-new 2019 Audi RS6 will be officially unveiled next year with mighty power as well – according to reports, we are likely to see 605 horsepower. In that case, you`d be more than glad to see a trio running down the tracks.

Until that happens, let`s stick to this gorgeous test between the 2018 BMW M5 and all-new Mercedes-AMG E63 S! Don’t forget to tell us which you bet your money on!
