Nowadays, when you think about BMW, you think about premium vehicles, manufactured in a high quality manner to suit your needs on the road.

But just like many other big players in the industry, BMW was not always into building cars.

As a matter of fact, even the current BMW badge will give you a hint of the car maker’s history. During the World Wars, the company made pretty much anything it could from cooking pots to motorcycles and even airplanes. But then again, most manufacturers were employed to deliver machines for the war or ammunition.

In a recent fit of melancholy, the German company went back to its roots with a project. Using a Klemm L25 sporting one of BMW’s radial engines, they put together a nice display of lights. When the engine is running, the propeller can display the car maker’s logo, as you can see in the video presented below.

BMW have one of the most popular brands ever and their logo is one of the most easily recognized but very few actually know details on its coming to life.

To that extent the purpose of this article is to show a short history lesson to those who don’t know what I’m talking about.

Most of those who actually know something about the history of the infamous logo aren’t completely right.

Popular belief is that the BMW logo derives from the company’s history with aircraft engines and that the idea came from a white propeller turning round a blue sky. BMW themselves agreed to this interpretation in 1929 but this isn’t the full story, as by that time the logo had been in existence for more than 12 years.

The round logo actually evolved from the similar circular Rapp Motorenwerke company logo, a company from which BMW was to expand into more and more products. However, while among aficionados there still is a dispute on whether the blue and white represent white blades cutting through the blue sky or the colors of the Free State of Bavaria, we have a short video to prove what’s what.

I have to say that if I would have below 5 years, either that the recommended age is between 0,5 and 3 years old, I would definitely wish such a toy. If my kid would wish such a thing, I would definitely understand him because even right now I am admiring this BMW Baby Race II Motorsport.

You should know that with this BMW Baby Race II Motorsport, your kid can play as much he can play inside but also at outside because it was designed to be stabile on any surface which makes it so cool.

I think it’s obvious that this BMW Baby Race II Motorsport was designed to look like a real racer because as you can see, it comes with an aerodynamic front spoiler, speedometer and also rev counter. You should also know that this BMW Baby Race II Motorsport would cost you just $133.84.

BMW Logo History…
If you want to know all the logos during the BMW brand history, we now offer you to look at bmw logos and say:”… are cool”. In my opinion the logo of the 1923 BMW looks great than the new one. I do not say that the logo after 2000 is “bad”, it is superb but like the one in May 1923 because it seems classic and special.
Finally, you can see the BMW logos in the image above and do not forget to post a comment and please tell us what is your logo chosen?
